Peter Robert Keil looks at his first preliminary studies on the first day of his 4 week stay at the Xylon Museum Schwetzingen.
Peter Robert Keil has hardly arrived in Schwetzingen and is already immersed in his world of colours and figures. During the next three weeks of his guest residency at the Xylon Museum Schwetzingen, the artist will devote himself to a new phase of his work, which will focus particularly on printing techniques. The results will be on view in small cabinet exhibitions and studio talks with the artist – we are looking forward to it. You can find more information about the anniversary year 2022 here.
Certification:
This year, Keil collectors will again have the opportunity to have their works certified by Peter-Robert Keil and included in the catalogue raisonné by the Keil Collection Heidelberg. The next certification meeting will take place on 24 July at the Xylon Museum Schwetzingen with Peter Robert Keil in attendance. As part of the certification, Dr Hoge will also give a guided tour of the studio and the exhibition rooms.
During certification, the works are checked for authenticity by the artist and an expert. Certification is a complex, multi-stage process that can only take place on site and with Peter Robert Keil in person.
Works certified as genuine are documented in detail and included in the catalogue raisonné. After certification, a catalogue raisonné number is assigned and the seal is applied, which is confirmed with the hand signatures of the artist and the expert. The data is entered into the catalogue programme and professionally prepared.
