Keil Eighty
As part of the anniversary year, the Keil Collection Heidelberg has set the goal of publishing another very special book. As already in the preceding book “Keil 75,” the internationally highly acclaimed poster artist Götz Gramlich is responsible for the book’s graphic design. Not only the spontaneous reactions from Keil fans but also the extremely successful sales attest to the book’s success. Some Keil fans have even secured four copies for themselves. The “Keil 80” book is divided into three chapters. In the first chapter, along with the foreword, there is an extensive biographical interview with Mr. Keil. The second, most comprehensive chapter presents the seven recurring main motifs in accordance with the “IchFarbe – a Painter Says I” exhibition concept, supported by exemplary works. The third chapter explains the origins, motifs, and backgrounds of the Keil Collection Heidelberg. A concluding chronology documents the over 20 activities of the past twelve years.
The “Keil 80” book is equipped with QR codes in all chapters, which redirect the reader to various relevant videos from the Keil Collection Heidelberg. Additionally, the high-quality printed images should be mentioned, which further bring the book to life.
The first 80 copies are numbered and signed by the artist himself. In addition, Peter Robert Keil has created 80 drawings specifically for the book—these can be exclusively purchased from the Keil Collection Heidelberg.

Keil Seventy-five
In this lavish art book, we gather 75 selected paintings from various collections. Presented in large format (DIN A4, partly even enlarged through fold-out pages), we showcase the full spectrum of color and expressive power of Keil’s work. And the highlight is: 75 copies are available in a limited artist edition. In this edition, the book’s cover page, designed in the form of a framed picture, actually becomes a framed image. That’s because each individual book contains an original Keil drawing as its front cover. This makes each copy a unique piece. The drawing can also be removed to serve as a standalone piece of art. The book is characterized by its high-quality printing with excellent color fidelity.
A delight for every Keil enthusiast!

WVPRK – Catalogue Raisonné of Peter Robert Keil: Paintings
After years of extensive certification of both large and small collections, the first volume of the catalogue raisonné has now been published. It contains all the paintings that have been certified to date. This book, too, which is over 500 pages long, is of the highest quality. Produced throughout in high-resolution four-color printing, it contains, in addition to the actual catalogue, a biography of the artist as well as explanations about the background of the “WVPRK Project” and the implementation of this ambitious endeavor.
The catalogue raisonné is a work in progress and will be continuously updated in the future. Further volumes on Keil’s sculptures and ceramics, as well as on his drawings and prints, are also expected. Naturally, the catalogue of paintings will be continuously updated as well.
The focus of the book is the actual catalogue of Keil’s paintings, of which over 4,000 have been recorded to date. Each painting is photographically documented and assigned a unique catalogue number. This will make it possible in the future to clearly distinguish genuine works from the numerous forgeries in circulation that Peter Robert Keil has certified as his own and therefore as the only authentic ones.

Life in a Burst of Color.
Under this motto, the Keil Collection Heidelberg, with the involvement of the GIM Society for Innovative Market Research, set the goal in the year of the artist’s 70th birthday to introduce the artist and his work to a broader public. Convinced that the diversity and depth of Peter Robert Keil’s art are yet to be discovered, the Keil Collection supported two major projects: a three-month guest studio for Keil at the Majolika Manufactory in Karlsruhe and a major anniversary exhibition in the Orangery of Schwetzingen Palace.
